miroire24 asked: Hi !!! :D I search a fic where Charles met as children Erik and Raven and they will together. The problem is that Erik can't consider Charles as his brother. They still have their power. Can you help me ? Thank !
Not sure! But I think you want this one dear:
- Curve Fitting by kianspo
Summary: The weird thing is, Charles always introduces Raven as his sister, but he never calls Erik his brother. Erik would be bothered, except he prefers not to think of Charles as his brother, either. He can’t figure it out for four years, and then suddenly he can.
Or. A non-powered AU in which Sharon Xavier never remarries, and Charles ‘adopts’ not only Raven, but Erik too.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: some underage UST, mentions of violence, mentions of past child abuse (nothing graphic), mentions of recreational drug use. First time, plotty, Mature, 23,952 words.
My Opinion: I personally love this story, even if at times UST killed me and oh my babies! It’s worth a read.
Anonymous asked: Hi. Love your blog! I was wondering if there were any Harry Potter verse AU's? Thank you:)
I know a writer who has done one as a prompt and is considering a full-length so if you bug her, you may succeed but the prompt is here:
- Unnamed prompt by swoopswoop
Summary: Based on this prompt: HarryPotter!Au. With lil’ Erik Lehnsherr (comes from a long bloodline of great wizards, all from Slytherin and so on) and lil’ Charles Xavier, who does not know anything about the magic world, and is off to the first yeat in Hogwarts. Meeting in the train? Becoming friends, tho one is in Slytherin and the other one in Ravenclaw? Some drama aroung Voldemort, and his followers, OR JUST SOME CUTE FLUFFY STUFF, I DON’T CARE
Warnings/Rating/Word count: PG, Harry potter AU, 2,000~ words
My Opinion: It’s cute ^^
- You Bring Me Right Back Down To The Promised Land by juurensha
Summary: In a world where Death Eater Shaw kills Erik’s Muggle parents and takes him for experimentation, Erik manages to escape to the Xavier Mansion. Charles and Erik grow up together at the mansion and at Hogwarts, but Erik is still intent on hunting down his tormentor. HP AU, Erik/Charles.
Warnings/Rating/Word count:fluff, crossover, PG, 77,837 words
My Opinion:Not read it! But it sounds incredibly cute!
Submitted: Aoy ! Have you some “circus AU” in your pocket ? Or something like that ? You know, mutants as freaks show. Thank you so much, love your blog.
The only circus AU that springs to mind with me is this one:
- Methamorphis by rusting_roses
Summary: When Charles Xavier first shows up at Erik Lensherr’s carnival sideshow, the last thing he’s expecting is someone like him. Charles is more than just the a spectator, however—he’s the leader of the legendary Butterfly Circus, and he’s about to change Erik’s life.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: ethnic slurs, language, PG, 12,300 words
My Opinion: I haven’t read it but it was recommended to me by a trustworthy friend whose recommendation included: “It’s lovely.”
There is one I’ve seen a few times but not personally read because of the tags:
- Dead Man’s Paradise by Yahtzee
Summary: Written for the XMFC Kink Meme, specifically this prompt: “Nazi hunter Erik Lernsharr is apprehended and sentenced to prison for the sheer trail of brutality and blood he left in his wake. But before he can be sent to prison, he’s purchased by a Deadman Wonderland, the world’s only privately owned prison come amusement park, where the prisoners are the entertainment.
If you’re familiar with the show, basically the rules, brutality, and the like are the same. Except DW is run entirely by mutants, even if not all the prisoners are mutants, since mutants would need to be able to subdue other mutants. But mutants are also the most valuable form of entertainment, and hence the most valuable prisoners, especially the ones who are deadmen walking.”
I’m wholly unfamiliar with the original “Deadman Wonderland” source, so I’ve just taken the core concepts and tried to fold it into this. Set in 1961 England. This also operates as my fill for the hc_bingo prompt “slaves.”
Warnings/Rating/Word count: rape/dub-con, fuck or die, AU, slavery, powered AU, NC-17, 23,972 words
My Opinion:Like I said, haven’t read but it’s got a decent amount of kudos and it IS Yahtzee.
d4ncingd4wn asked: Bless you and your blog, it's wonderful. Good Boys and the zombie one were amazing. I'd like to ask if you've got recs for an evil!Charles, possibly possessed?
I can think of one in particular which has an evil/dark!Charles but it’s not something I typically read so a few of these suggestions will be blind ones.
- A Force to Be Reckoned With by firstlightofeos
Summary: “No, no, no!” Erik exclaims, slamming his glass forcefully back down onto the bar. “Telepathy is impressive in theory, but realistically, no one’s powerful enough, or has enough control, to make you forget yourself or to get you to do anything you don’t want to do.”
“You sound very sure about that,” his companion says, taking a sip of his scotch. He tilts his head and raises an eyebrow. “I wonder if you’ve ever really met a telepath before.”
Warnings/Rating/Word count: dub-con (but it’s consensual, ish) knifeplay, some blood play, some bondage, rimming, anal, oral, marathon sex, begging, forced orgasm, multiple orgasms.
My Opinion: I think the warnings say it all. It’s very .. um… Chares is very dominating in this. I like the ending and yeah… man do I feel dirty reccing this. I wouldn’t say he’s evil per-se more, dominating but open to interpretation.
- The World Waits For No Man by Kageillusionz
Summary: As soon as Charles is discharged from hospital post Cuba, all he wants is to be left alone to his own devices. The boys want to help and cheer him up but Charles begins to lock them out, neglects to take care of himself and begins drinking his woes away.
Emma pays him a surprise visit and then informs Magneto of Charles injury and the consequences that came with that one bullet. Magneto checks in on Charles, only to find Charles a bitter, defeated version of his younger chipper self, who feels there’s no point on fighting any more and who won’t listen anyone, not even Erik.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: dark!Charles, cuban missile crisis, suicidal thoughts, angst, alcoholism, bitterness, happy ending, Mature, 3668 words.
My Opinion: Haven’t read it but I love Kage and they write well.
- The Tower and The Hurricane by dreamlittleyo
Summary:(Post-movie AU.) Five years after Shaw’s death, Erik’s predictions prove painfully accurate. Violence rages on both sides of the human/mutant conflict. In a world ravaged by war, it doesn’t really matter who’s more at fault. Charles struggles to teach his students a better way, but what choices will he make when peace really isn’t an option?
Warnings/Rating/Word count: NC-17, violence, angst, guilt, first time, Canon AU, 41,572 words.
My Opinion: Just, don’t talk to me okay. It was quite sweet at times but holy fuck the ending. And just. God this hurts to remember. I looked up my first response to reading this and it goes, “oh god it hurt. Just ow. I feel nothing but pain & if I couldn’t hear boyfriend snoring, then I would read another out of necessity. The pain!” Charles isn’t necessarily evil more forced into doing something bad.
- Treasure by professor
Summary: Knight Erik thinks he’s going to slay the dragon and take the beast’s treasure. He’s very, very wrong about that.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: *Ahem* non-con, object insertion, double penetration, fisting, oral, anal, marathon sex, lactation kink, mpreg, crying, humiliation, interspecies sex, bathing, foot fetish, tails,
My Opinion: I feel so bad for reading this looking and writing those tags but damn it was good. Charles is a dragon, guys. He’s kinda an evil dragon.
- After Hours by LustMonster
Summary: Charles and Erik are serial killers in their city that have been corresponding for years but never met.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: mind control, co-dependency, serial killers, mature content, 31,854 words (WARNING - WIP THAT HASN’T UPDATED SINCE 2012).
My Opinion: Not read it, but the serial killer thing made me think evil.
There is one other I can think on that’s so sad I had to stop it but can’t find it right now where Mystique tricks Charles into coming to help her but when he gets there Erik captures him so he doesn’t get in the way while Erik does something really bad. If anyone knows this story please send me a message or something cause I remember Charles doing something rather bad but he was forced to it.
Anonymous asked: Hi! This blog is wonderful, especially for wide-eyed xmfc newbies stumbling around. (Like me!) So I'm wondering, do you know any fics involving bookshops/coffeeshops/tea parlours? Thank you!
Coffee shop AUs
Sorry it’s taken me so long dear! But there is a gold mine of coffee shop/book shop AUs out there
- In Moonlight Joy Ride by scarlettblush
Summary: Librarian AU. Charles is the young librarian and Erik is the college student who is completely besotted with him.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: Teen, 11,292 words
My Opinion: It’s adorable and I love every character. Even Shaw. If you want a badass Erik with piercings and a sweet, innocent Charles, well then. Enjoy!
- New Beautiful Things Come by Raven(singlecrow)
Summary: Erik runs a kosher bakery. Charles comes in for baked goods. They play chess, eat meringues, people drop other people’s keys down the toilet, and there’s mutant performance art.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: modern setting, wheelchair, PG, 17,615 words.
My Opinion: It’s cute. I don’t know what it is about baker Erik that pulls me in so much. Huh. Something to think on. He plays with dough guys.
- With Abandon by sunryder
Summary: The best part about Charles’ favorite bakery isn’t the location, and it isn’t the lovely smell, or even the Earl Grey cupcakes. It’s the Baker.
Erik Lehnsherr is a beautiful specimen of a man, particularly when his fussing over Charles takes the form of pastry.
Such a pity Charles doesn’t know Erik is an assassin.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: bakery, modern, Charles rules the world, 11,070 words, PG.
My Opinion: Raven gets angsty in this one, so it does stick true. I like the characterisations and Erik in general being protective. It’s lovely..
- Paper Monsters by Clocks
Summary: Fill for this prompt: Charles meets Erik Lehnsherr, his favorite novelist of all time at a coffee shop, but doesn’t know it’s him, and Erik just criticizes his own writing in front of his biggest fan.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: clueless Charles, AU, non-powered, NC-17, 39,242 words.
My Opinion: It’s a coffee shop AU with hella high recommendations, I’ve just not gotten round to reading it yet though I trust that it is good.
- Done To A T by ToDifferentToBeReal
Summary: An X-Men First Class AU in which Erik owns a restaurant.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: NC-17, 14,531 words
My Opinion: It was cute if memory serves right (it’s been a while since I read it) but it has a happy ending which is what matters.
- 645 Riverside by smilebackwards
Summary: Azazel clearly has yet to understand the shattering power of Charles’ disappointment, so Erik takes one for the team, grabbing the cup and downing the remnants of the cappuccino like a shot while Azazel watches with morbid fascination.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: coffee shop AU, modern setting, no powers, PG, 4924 words
My Opinion: Classic coffee shop AU, adorable as hell too :D
- Put On A Slow, Dumb Show For You by cm(mumblemutter)
Summary: Charles owns a coffee shop, Erik is a corporate lawyer (and owns some really nice suits). Things get a bit hazy from there.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: Hesits, mentions of killings, PG, 23,710 words.
My Opinion: It’s sweet and I like how Charles doesn’t take shit.
- Order Up by ikeracity
Summary: Charles has a terrible habit of multitasking, and that is probably why he absentmindedly tells the pizza man that he loves him when hanging up.
Then the pizza man says it back. And Charles is pretty much smitten from there.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: phone calls, PG, 4349 words.
My Opinion: It’s cutesy and adorable and Sean is fabulous. Not quite what you asked for but too adorable not to not read
- Meeting at the Chessboard by ninemoons42, papercutperfect
Summary: This is the story of how her Charles met my Erik; it’s a modern-day AU, with powers; Charles is the owner of a restaurant called the Chessboard and the leader of its all-mutant staff, while Erik is an engineer working at Frost Industries.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: modern, first time, NC-17, 16,031 words.
My Opinion: The children are perfect. I mean. GAH. And the cute. Oh my. Restaurant AU, similar ish to what you wanted.
- Book Ends (Of Reading Between the Lines) by illiadeum(Zombias)
Summary: Charles is the owner of a book store, his best friend that he’s known since high school is a cop who’s recently been promoted, and, oh yeah, he’s madly in love with him.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: modern setting, misunderstandings, NC-17, 12,399 words.
My Opinion: It’s been a while since I read it but I remember it being sweet and perhaps slightly awkward but not sure about that (:
Anonymous asked: Hello! I was wondering if you could post a link to all the fic rec lists? Thanks!
Do you mean links to all my rec lists?
http://cherikficreclists.tumblr.com/crack = total crack
http://cherikficreclists.tumblr.com/myfavourites = My Top Ten
Okay and these are rec lists people have asked for:
Anonymous asked: HELLO FRIEND. HAVE YOU ANY CANON MPREG CHERIK FICS???
Well hello there! Mpreg happens to be my speciality! :)
Canon mpregs, you say? Most of these will take place as XMFC fix-its, fair warning, and well undoubtedly the most well known is this one:
- What To Expect When You’re Not Expecting It by thehoyden
Summary: “I wasn’t hiding it from you. Honestly, I didn’t know for certain until yesterday, which I think we can agree was bad timing and not the sort of thing one springs before the heat of battle,” Charles says earnestly.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: mpreg, NC-17, 9,659 words.
My Opinion: This is the highest ranked (completed) m-preg for Cherik on Ao3 with a damn good reason. If you haven’t read it now, you need to.
- A Logical Progression by cloudyjenn
Summary: Erik and Charles were only together once before doubt and fear ground their romance to a halt. But once was apparently all it took. Now Charles is dealing with a pretty crappy secondary mutation, a brand new career teaching mini-mutants and a stubbornly overprotective Erik. This is the story of how Charles and Erik got from Point A to Point B and what they collected along the way.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: m-preg, NC-17, 17,351 words.
My Opinion: It’s slow build and hurts at times but the ending is gorgeous. I recommend a read, I really do.
- Family Life at The Xavier Mansion by Ashkevron
Summary: X men first class folowing the events of the film - beach divorce scene occurs.
Charles is being overly hormonal, his powers are going haywire, and Erik is the father…
Warnings/Rating/Word count: m-preg, NC-17, 66,019 words.
My Opinion: Fair warning, it’s fairly poorly written but it does get better on later in it. The relationship between Charles and Erik makes me immensely happy and if you can struggle through the poor grammar, there is a good story.
- Bad Guys Save The Day by ferretbaby
Summary: Total crack. How the ‘divorce’ could have been averted if Azazel and being pregnant worked in your favor. Also Charles is really pissed at Erik’s penis.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: mpreg, NC-17, 5,199 words.
My Opinion: I cackled through this one. I love it. It’s brill. Go. Read. Enjoy.
- The Prodigal Son by Madd4the24
Summary: Realistically, Charles knew it was the least advantageous moment to suddenly remember his impending fatherhood. The Americans and Russians were moments away from inciting a new world war, and likewise, Erik himself seemed a split second from turning humanity against mutants forever. But the words were there without his permission, spilling from his lips in a desperate attempt to save Erik from his own madness, and Charles from the inevitable grief that would follow. So he said it. He shouted it. In one felled swoop he told Erik about the life growing inside of him. It was ridiculous and unbelievable and frightening, and Charles had done his best to ignore it up until that moment. But then, with the missiles moments away from destroying so many human lives, Charles recognized the life inside him for what it was. Grasping at straws he told Erik they’d created a child. There was a baby to consider now, equal parts theirs. Pretending the baby was anything but, was no longer an option.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: angst, abandonment, mpreg, Mature, 89,605 words.
My Opinion: Personally, this is a tad too bittersweet for me, but if that’s your cup of tea, you’ll thoroughly enjoy this one. It took me two read throughs to notice the happy ending in there.
- Something Yet To Learn by orphan_account
Summary: Charles said the only thing he could think of to make Erik stop from killing the humans. He didn’t even think it work but somehow it did. Now things are a lot different then they were suppose to go, but at least he has Erik by his side.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: mpreg, NC-17, 10,714 words.
My Opinion: Funny at times, thoroughly enjoyed it, nice ending. It will make you smile. Problem being the writing style/grammar isn’t that great but by no means is it unreadable!
- I can Honestly Admit I Never Expected That by swoopswoop
Summary: Erik didn’t only leave Charles on the beach.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: hurt/comfort, heartache, m-preg, Teen Audiences, 15,183 words.
My Opinion: I really like the unexpected plot twist in this one, I won’t spoil it but it’s emotionally invested for something so short and the author has written a few mpregs, this is one of my favourites of them.
- What Can We Do Without You? By swoopswoop
Summary: Charles and the boys were holding onto a secret more dear to them than their own lives when Charles disappears into the night; Erik is betrayed and finds himself returning to Westchester in the hopes that the government was just trying to trick him. All the while the boys are stuck in the middle, left guarding the secret from the man they are most afraid of finding out who is weaselling his way back into their lives alarmingly easily.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: m-preg, imprisonment, torture, kidnapping, NC-17, 111,355 words.
My Opinion: It’s really not as dark as the tags make it sound, and with the length it’s well spread out. You find yourself yelling for Erik to hurry up and find out but the emotional build up is strong and the relationships between minor characters made me smile. A good read, albeit a long one.
- An Earlier Heaven by Regann
Summary: In the wake of Cuba, Charles and his students are ready to pick up the pieces and work toward achieving Charles’s dream of a safe haven for young mutants. Those plans, however, take a surprising turn thanks to a very unexpected complication. As he slowly builds a future for his students and for his child, Charles struggles with the loss of Erik and the secrets he’s willing to keep to protect his family, but those strides are shattered when Erik makes a startling reappearance into his life. [mpreg, kidfic, ensemble]
Warnings/Rating/Word count: m-preg, Teen Audiences, 67,420 words
My Opinion: It gets a touch angsty at times but it really is a lovely story. I’m rather keen on m-pregs though so I am biased. I loved it so much.
To those of you asking about JacAvoy85 Fics
But I’m just linking to the ones I’ve been sent by very many awesome people!
Claimed: “So, ‘Charles’ is it?” Erik Lehnsherr said as he ran a finger down the brunet’s chest- -his hands bound and tied up by the headboard, gag in mouth. “You shouldn’t have run from me Charles,” he chided his omega. “You knew I’d find you.”
Another One Where Charles is 18 and Erik 26: Poor, poor poor Raven—Again I make her suffer through trying to keep Charles and Erik apart. This time though, it is Erik who is her older brother, and Charles is her young friend that she so desperately tries to keep away from him. Also, she fails.
How To Stop a Wedding By Erik Lehnsherr: “So,” Erik said as he looked down at the cup of coffee in his hand, “when you and Moira have sex,” he looked up, “do you get it in the right hole?”
“Goodbye Erik,” Charles said as he went to stand, but Erik just reached out and grabbed Charles’ wrist again. “Just…sit down Charles…I’m sorry,” Erik said as he pulled the smaller man back into his seat.
Sighing, Charles flopped back down into the cafés chair. “What do you want Erik?”
“Charles,” Erik drew out, “you can’t marry her.”
Hope this helps anyone still left searching! If anything doesn’t work, please tell me!
Anonymous asked: Any Cherik FanFics That feature Charles being kidnapped? (Maybe by Shaw?) Thank you Xx
Sorry for being slow guys! It’s exam season:
Okay so some of these get quite dark, which is understandable, so if you want more fluffy ones like the last two - just let me know!
- It’s like one of us woke up by kaydeefalls
Summary: "You came here for me,” Charles said, meeting Shaw’s gaze levelly. “So let’s not waste any more time.”
Canon!AU in which Charles and Erik do find Shaw in Russia.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: Canon AU, captivity, H/C, PG, 25,293 words
My Opinion: As asked for Shaw specifically kidnaps Charles and XMFC goes AU from Russia. It’s well written and I love Piotr in this. Artwork too!
- Blood And Steels And Miles Between by dreamlittleyo
Summary: (Post-movie AU.) On a beach in Cuba, Charles manages to talk Erik down from the edge. But even after the missiles have been diverted, compromise is impossible. There are two different futures to build, and Erik and Charles will always be separated by their principles. But when Charles is kidnapped and the X-Men can’t find him, Erik will get him back no matter the consequences.
Meanwhile, trapped alone in his mind for the first time in his life, Charles comes face to face with the truth about what and who he wants. When convictions stand in direct opposition to the heart, which will prevail?
Warnings/Rating/Word count: Explicit sexual content, consent issues, medical experimentation, post xmfc, NC-17, 29464 words.
My Opinion: I’ve fairly confident that this is bittersweet. Like – it’s in my notes as being so, tread lightly. But for me bittersweet can mean Erik and Charles just not staying together sooo I’m biased. Well written though! And artwork!
- Bedroom Tour by Ook
Summary: Charles stopped, in the doorway of the room Erik was showing him, and refused to move further.
“Problem, Tourist?” he said, amused. “You liked the art galleries.”
“That’s a bedroom. Why are you showing me a bedroom.” Charles said, flatly.
This is very dark. Extremely dark. This is a story of a sadist (Erik) and his chosen project (Charles); with an ambigous ending. Warnings are placed at the begining of every chapter.
Reader: be welcome, be happy… and beware!
Warnings/Rating/Word count: too many to state but, very dark!Erik, non/con, rape, Stockholm syndrome, torture, NC-17 like woah, 24361 words.
My Opinion: I couldn’t finish it. It’s dark and mentally tormenting and whilst it isn’t Shaw you almost wish it was so someone would be there to rescue Charles.
- Shaw’s Captive by swoopswoop
Summary: Magneto killed Shaw, it had to be done for the sake of mutant-kind but what he wasn’t expecting to find hidden deep with Shaw’s complex was a man held captive, obviously tortured, that somehow made Magneto turn into Erik.
Erik now has a potential human in his citadel as he continues the war with the human’s.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: war, torture, abduction, rape/non-con, depictions of torture, hurt/comfort, protective!Logan, Erik and Raven, NC-17, 68,524 words.
My Opinion: Genosha set-up where there is a full-scale world war mutants vs humans. Charles starts off in Shaw’s grasp and *SPOILER* gets taken again. *Spoiler end*
- Incy WIncy Spider by Tawabids
Summary: Erik Lehnsherr is a renowned homicide detective, with his husband Charles at home and his partner on the job, Moira MacTaggert. When a twisted serial killer starts targeting mutants, Erik and Moira are the perfect team for the job, especially since Erik himself is the mutant poster-boy of an NYPD trying to improve their image.
But what they don’t yet know is that the serial killer is an old soul out of Erik’s past, and his next move is to pull Charles into his web.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: torture, serial killer, kidnapping, homophobia, mentions of suicide, NC-17, 40,478 words.
My Opinion: IT’s a good story but personally I didn’t like it because there aren’t many Charles and Erik scenes (which makes sense) but I need more for a good cherik story. Still I’m reccing it for those who don’t need that.
- Charles’ Shaw by Cesare and helen78
Summary: This is one of many branches of our Bound and Determined D/s-everywhere soulbonding universe, in which Charles and Erik are bonded.
In the primary B&D verse, their bond is interrupted when they’re still teenagers, after mutantphobia lands Erik in the hands of experimental bond therapist Sebastian Shaw.
In this variation, Charles is the one who ends up in Shaw’s hands.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: AU- Soul mates, modern setting, forced relationship, underage and rape non-con, suicide, murder, NC-17, 14867 words
My Opinion: I haven’t read it. The tags scare me and I’ve not read B&D and feel I should do that first but as it is Shaw having taken Charles hostage, I feel you should be rec’d this. It’s helen78 so I trust the writing.
- Deep Cover by Subtilior
Summary: Omegas in heat? The perfect whores. Sebastian Shaw? The bastard who kidnaps them for his Hellfire Club. Erik Lehnsherr? A hard-boiled detective who’s been on the Hellfire case for months. The catastrophe that unfolds when he goes in on retrieval and finds Charles Xavier still writhing in a Hellfire bed? …. Deep Cover.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: alpha/omega, mating, heats, prostitution, angst, mpreg, knotting, rape/non-con, graphic depictions of violence, drinking, smoking, NC-17, 41,541 words
My Opinion: Watch what you are getting into because graphic and choose your own ending and even the ‘nicest one’ is bittersweet! But it’s Shaw holding Charles hostage and compellingly well-written even if it made me doubt myself substantially.
- Days Go By by Caradee
Summary: Charles felt his stomach drop; he backed into the mirror behind him, feeling the cool glass against the nape of his neck. “You’re going to keep me here?”
“For nine months,” Shaw nodded, “I believe its best, don’t worry my dear you and your child will be taken care of completely.”
A Kink Meme fill where Shaw discovers Charles’ secondary mutation and keeps the Professor in his care for the duration of the pregnancy.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: mpreg, captivity, slight Stockholm syndrome, Charles/Shaw, non-con, humiliation, Nc-17, 11800 words
My Opinion: I haven’t read it but I’ve seen it in passing a fair few times and if you can stomach the side pairing, go for it!
And now for some lighter kidnappings!
- The Masked Man (Who Has Everything) by Traincat
Summary: The one where Erik is Batman, and Charles is kidnapped roughly once a week.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: Kidnap, Batman!AU, Mature, 8,106 words
My Opinion: Not Shaw stealing Charles but it’s worth reading for the hilarity. It’s really an excellent fic.
- Is It Too Much to Ask by Unforgotten
Summary: As often as Erik has kidnapped Charles over the past few years, and as many glorious opportunities as have presented themselves, it is both surprising and appalling that they still haven’t fucked yet.
Or: five times Charles and Erik didn’t have sex, plus one time they did.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: Crack, 5+1, canon disable character, humour, Mature content, 2841 words.
My Opinion: A much lighter kidnapping, cute (:
always-a-marvel-fangirl asked: Thank you so much for managing this and taking the time to help fellow cherik lovers! I was hoping you could rec me fics where Emma and Charles are friends (or friendly.) I've read a few (Frosted Hearts and one where they work together at Charles mutant only business), but I would love to find some more!
There are a few! A couple of my favourites too:
- Omega Online by miss_aphelion
Summary: Newly imprinted Charles is having trouble dealing with his overly protective alpha—so in desperation he seeks advice in an omega chat room. Emma Frost is more than happy to help, Raven isn’t helping at all, and Erik can’t stand to be out of touch with Charles for more than five minutes at a time.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: alpha/omega, Teen Audiences, 12,007 words.
My Opinion: It’s funny. Emma is just beautiful in this one, if I’m honest.
- All The King’s Man by Pookaseraph
Summary: In an effort to get out from under the thumb of his step-father, Charles chooses to become a courtesan for several minor nobles in King Erik’s court. It is not long before he attracts the eye of the young king, and the Cardinal who holds the young king’s ear. Charles spends months working to secure his place as King Erik’s favorite and to regain his father’s title of Merchant Prince. Charles hopes to disprove the old adage that once you enter the king’s bed, you have nowhere to go but down.
A historical AU with alpha/omega dynamics (no heat). Not nearly as dark as the warnings might make it sound.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: attempted rape, m-preg, regency AU, violence, imprisonment, courteseans, lots of sex, alpha/beta dynamics, dubious consent, NC-17, 64,123
My Opinion: The tags make it sound darker than it is, the character build is fantastic, you really understand where they’re coming from and it’s so deep at the end. I could have read more. Honestly. I read this one quite often and if it’s your thing, you should. Warnings for Charles having sex with other characters (including Emma), if you’re not into that, you can pretend it’s not happening. I do. But Charles and Emma really are working together and it’s lovely.
- Utility Belts and Elbow Patches by captainkoirk
Summary: Erik wishes being a hit man was half as glamourous as it’s cracked up to be.
Maybe then he wouldn’t be stuck crawling through a ventilation system at fuck o’ clock in the morning on a Sunday, breathing recycled air and missing the tail end of that Criminal Minds marathon.
Erik makes a mental note to get a fucking TiVo. What kind of assassin doesn’t have TiVo?
Warnings/Rating/Word count: criminals, modern setting, NC-17, 24,245 words. Watch for side pairings.
My Opinion: Sorry but I have a weakness for Charles being less than moral. I love this story, the back and forth and everyone’s involvement. I really really recommend you give this a read. It’s got Emma and Charles being friends also side pairing warning for Emma/Moira but non-graphic.
- Taken By His Majesty by Pookaseraph
Summary: Erik’s mission was simple, sneak into the Celtic pretender king’s tent, assassinate him, and return to Rome with his father’s honor restored. Unfortunately, he didn’t count on Charles. When the prince chooses to take him as his personal slave, Erik feared the worst, and his concerns weren’t entirely unwarranted. The worst, however, turns out to be falling in love with the greatest enemy of Rome’s primacy in Briton. A historical romance set during the early days of Rome’s occupation of Briton.
Warnings/Rating/Word count: slavery, dubious consent, injury, NC-17, 17,759 words.
My Opinion: Well set, well-written, well-paced. I just loved it. Not so much Charles and Emma interaction BUT that said, she is Charles’ mother so.
Sorry there aren’t more but I didn’t want to keep you waiting too long & if anyone wants me to add to the list or I think of any other’s, I’ll tack them on!
